You didn't specify whether you need face or eye brushes but my all time favourite 2 MAC brushes are 187 and 109. They have multiple uses and so long lasting. My 187 is more than 7 years old and I mainly used it for foundation (now I have a second one so I use the old one for blushes), it didn't shed at all, not even once. I so love it.

I'd say the 217 & the 129, the 217 is the most versatile eye brush and the 129 is so multipurpose, blush, bronzer & powder! xx

Eye brush would definitely be the 217 as Laura has already mentioned, it is an amazing eye brush & perfect for blending, highlighting & all over colour! & for a mac brush i think its a really reasonable price!
I would probably say the 129, so i have basically said the same as Laura! oppsy! But she is 100% right so multipurpose & can be used for lots of things!

I'd say the 217 and the 109. I use my 217 for my brow bone highlight, for an all over wash of colour on the lid and for crease work and blending.

The 109 is my most recent purchase. And I must say I love it. I use it for contouring, blush and powder foundation.

I love the 239 and 217 for eyes – 217 is great for blending but I prefer 239 because it allows you to really pack on the colour xox

I use the 239 and the 217 for my eyes (applying eyeshadow and blending). I like the 168 and the 187 for my face (blush and powder).

For eyes, I love the 217 and 219. Both make blending and applying the crease color amazingly easy. I think the 187 is next on my list, though it's going to take a bit of saving! 🙂

217 and 239. 239 for applying all over lid colour, and the 217 for the crease and blending 🙂
