The mummy tag

I haven’t done a tag post in a long while, and thought this was the perfect one to get me back in to the swing of things. I love being a mum more than anything in the world.

 1. Are you a Stay at Home Mum, or a Working Mum?

I work part time (16 hours a week)

2. Would you have it any other way?

I love that my job is 4 mornings a week (5am-9am) as I am barely away from Josh and its a good help money wise, but I would love not being so tired all the time!

3. Do you co-sleep?

We don’t, he has always been (touch wood) an amazing sleeper, and barely ever wakes up in the night, he has been in his own room from about 5 months and has slept through the night from around 3 months!

4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?

Josh loved his piano musical play mat, he loved just laying there kicking his little feet against the piano and that is where he spent most of his time, he was so chilled and happy. Also a moses basket to carry around the house to whichever room I was busy in was a life saver.

5. How many kids do you plan on having?

I would love to have three. I always wanted a little boy first and got my little wish, and I really don’t mind what I have next, I mean it would be lovely to have a little girl, but I would also be super happy with a little boy. This will not be happening for a long long time though, not until I move out of my parents home and can safely know I can afford more children.

6. Date night? How many nights per month?

Barely ever! I live at home with my parents so there is no baby sitting issue, trying to save as much money as I can, and stop wasting so much money on food!!!

7. Your childs favourite show?

He isn’t much of a TV watcher, he isn’t very interested when I put something on for him. He sometimes sits and watches nursery rhyme videos or a bit of one direction (he has a little obsession) but that’s pretty much it!

8. Name one thing you bought before you had your baby and never ended up using?
Why can’t I think of anything? Clothes I guess. I bought so much we wasted loads, he barely wore any outfits twice and I look back and think what a waste of money!

9. Your child’s favourite food?

Macaroni cheese, he is such a  fussy eater, barely eats a thing I’m finding it super difficult at the moment.

10. How many cars does your family have?

I can’t drive, so I guess if your calling it just me and Matt, we have the one, but as a family where I live my parents have one each to.

11. Weight gain before pregnancy, during and after and now?

I barely put on that much weight while I was pregnant, and I lost it pretty quickly and weigh around the same as I did before hand now!

12. Dream holiday with your kids?

Disney world has to be the obvious, I have been three times and I loved it every single time. I can’t wait until he is a little older to understand more and I can’t wait to see his little excited face, I will save like crazy to make it happen!

13. Dream holiday without your kids?

I can’t think of having a holiday without Josh, I couldn’t bare to leave him. I guess anywhere hot would be lovely to relax for a little baby free time,  but I don’t really think about it at the moment as where ever I go he is coming with me.

14. How has your life changed since your baby has been born?

It has changed so much for the better, he makes me so happy I am constantly smiling and watching him grow and learn things every day is the best experience ever, he has changed me for the better and a world without him would be the worst thing in the world.

15. Finish the sentence: ‘It makes my heart melt to see … ‘

The bond my mum and Josh has, I love them so much.

16. Where do you shop for your kids?

I buy a lot of his relaxing clothes from Primark, but all his lovely nice outfits are mainly from Next or Mothercare.

17. Favourite makeup and skincare products?

Such a hard choice, I love all my naked palettes and my bourjois healthy mix serum foundation. Skin care favourite at the moment estee lauder advanced night serum such an expensive buy but I really enjoy using it.

18. Huggies or Pampers?

Pampers, I have always loved using pampers since the day he’s been born and I have had no problems

19. Have you always wanted kids?

Yes, I looked after my little cousins a lot, and both of my best friends had baby’s and it made me so so broody that I knew I wanted to be a mum so much, and I am so glad, he is the most perfect thing that has ever happened.

20. Best part about being a mum?

No matter how I feel, he makes me so happy, always puts a smile on my face and the precious moments when he comes over and kisses me randomly or cuddles me, would not change them for the world.

If your a doting mummy like me, please do this tag to and let me know in the comments as I am super nosy and really enjoy reading them
